Collaborative Events

AACIPM regularly hosts original symposia, and shares information about other relevant conferences, to achieve our alliance’s collective goal of increasing access to high-quality, affordable, whole health pain management. These events have generated a multitude of helpful resources (below) for people living with pain, providers, insurers, large purchasers of healthcare, academia, researchers, and government agencies who are in need of practical information, data, and the latest trends related to comprehensive integrative pain management.

AACIPM Webinar

Exploring Equitable, Scalable, Value-Based Pain Care Delivery

On behalf of the Alliance to Advance Comprehensive Integrative Pain Management and the US Pain Foundation, we invite you to view this lively and constructive discussion about the intersection of payer policies and value-based care delivery for high-impact pain.

In light of CMS’ laudable goal for Medicare and Medicaid beneficiaries to be in value-based care relationships by 2030, we took a deeper dive to explore the real-world impact of this goal and the paths toward successful implementation. This program looks into the most recent pain management codes released by CMS in January 2023 and how these are playing out in various clinical settings. Further, our esteemed panelists (see their bios) each bring a unique perspective and practical expertise to the conversation with an understanding of the nuances of how payer policies impact clinical—and scalable—implementation of pain care policy.

Realities, Research & Rethinking Person-Centered Integrative Pain Management

Realities, Research & Rethinking
Person-Centered, Integrative Pain Management

Wednesday, January 25, 2023, 11:30-1:00PM CDT

Most stakeholders agree that a person-centered, multimodal, integrative approach to pain care is best practice – and most clinical guidelines recommend that a non-pharmacological treatment should be tried first.  Yet, this approach to care remains elusive for many people based on numerous pain realities.

This webinar brings together perspectives from people with pain, research, clinical practice and payers to discuss innovation and progress in their field and how to keep people with pain at the center of this care.
