AACIPM Webinar on KnoWEwell Live

AACIPM presents webinar:

Bridging Self Care and Comprehensive Pain Management in Program and Payment Designs

In honor of September being Awareness Month for Pain, Self Care, and Suicide Prevention, AACIPM collaborated with – Whole Health Institute, Midwest Business Group on Health, The Pain Community and University of Vermont Medical Center – to spread awareness and deepen connections and understanding regarding the intersection of these important issues.  Chronic pain affects one in five people and has a substantial impact on a person’s ability to function at home and at work. Competence in self care is a crucial component of whole person, comprehensive, integrative approach to pain management.

During the 90-minute webinar, Bridging Self Care and Comprehensive Pain Management in Program and Payment Designs, we’ll explore these issues with leaders who represent people with pain, mid-to-large employers, the financial/return on investment side, and the team involved with one unique payer-provider partnership in Vermont, the UVMMC Comprehensive Pain Program (read Duke’s case study about this program).

This webinar was held on September 28, 2021 from 12:30-2:00 pm ET and was hosted on KnoWEwell Live.
